विकास के नाम पर एक बात मुझे सबसे अच्छी लगी की सड़को की हालत में काफी सुधार आया हा, सड़क का  कार्य काफी अच्छा चल रहा है

मिट्टी की सडको को डामर डाल के पक्का किया जा रहा हा
और इस काम में मैंने काफी लोगो को काम करते हुए देखा जो गाँव में रहते है ..इस से गाँव के आम आदमी को कुछ न कुछ कमाने को मिल रहा हा !

विकास की क्या गजब कहानी गढ़ी जा रही है, इसकी बानगी देखने के लिये आप उत्तराखण्ड आ सकते हैं।
* पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में उद्योग शून्य ही हैं, पर्वतीय ग्रामीण अंचलों में बिजली की आवश्यकता रात के समय उजाला करने और बच्चों को पढ़ाई करने के लिये ही चाहिये। लेकिन यह विडम्बना है कि हवाई दावों के बाद उत्तराखण्ड के सुदूर गांवों में आज भी रात में बिजली नहीं आती है और बिजली अगर गलती से आ भी गई तो इतनी डिम है कि उससे उजाला भी सही से नहीं हो पाता। हां बिजली इतनी जरुर आती है कि आप विद्यार्थी को यह बता सकते हैं कि देखो बल्ब में जो जल रहा है, वह टंगस्टन का तार है।

* सड़को पर डामरीकरण हो रहा है, लेकिन उसकी क्वालिटी और क्वांटिटी क्या है? डामर के नाम पर बस सड़कें काली कर दी जाती हैं, मुश्किल से १ इंच डामर भी नहीं किया जा रहा है।

* पानी के सूखे नल मीना नातिनी ने दिखा ही दिये हैं। इसके साथ ही ६०-६० हजार में लगे हैण्डपम्प भी सफेद हाथी ही साबित हुये हैं। उत्तराखण्ड राज्य की मांग का जो दर्द था, वह यह था कि मैदानी राज्य के परिप्रेक्ष्य में जारी की जा रही नीतियां हमारे लिये निष्प्रयोज्य ही होती थी। लेकिन वाह रे उत्तराखण्ड के हुक्मरान, इन्होंने फिर वही दोहराया और उत्तराखण्ड में भी हैण्ड पम्प लगवा दिये, जो १-२ साल हांफ-हांफ कर चुप्प हो गये।

* पहाड़ों की सड़को की हालत यह है कि उस पर पैदल चलना भी दूभर है, जो सड़क बरसात में टूट गई थी, वह अभी तक नहीं बन पाई है, कई जगह तो सड़क पर खुद ही अस्थाई सड़क बनाकर अपनी गाड़ी पार करवानी पड़ती है।

बहुत कुछ है......कहो तो क्या कहो, करो तो क्या करो, क्योंकि जो कर सकता है,......वह कुछ और ही कर रहा है।

Thanks for the inputs by all the Members.

The inputs given by you shows that Uttarakhand is nowhere on development Track even after passingn of 9 yrs of its coming into existence.

Two national level parties BJP and Congress have ruled in the state but so far both the parties have been failed to give the development pace.

What was the objective / dream for this hilly state, it does not seem to be proving true.

Though, i have alreay given a clear report out the development in my village and i have given only 5% to the development that is also too high.

Situation has become like speechless

i am also dis-appointed with the development pace of Uttarakhand. It is really very-2 sad that during these 9 yrs, there is no remarkable development in hill areas.

मुझे तो लगता नहीं है की कभी भी उत्तराखंड के पर्वतिये गाँवों मैं कभी विकास होगा ,ये बिलकुल गलत है कि उत्तराखंड की सरकार, गांवों के विकास के के लिए पैसा नहीं देती है, पैसा जितना पास होता है उतना गांवों के विकास के लिए जाता है है लेकिन, गांवों मैं सरकारी दफ्तरों मैं बैठने वाले भेडिये हैं,

 आधा से ज्यादा तो वो डकार देते हैं बाकी बचे आधे उनमें से आधे पहले ही गाँवों मैं जो विकास का काम करवाने वाले अपनिआप को ठेकेदार संझते हैं!

 आधे खा जाते हैं वो और जो भी काम कर्वालते हैं वो काम सिर्फ चार महीने तक ही सिमित रहता है, लगता है कि कुछ विकास हुवा लेकिन ये जानते ही नहीं हैं ये विकास का काम नहीं विनास कर रहे हैं इस देवभूमि का !

अगस्त्यमुनि (रुद्रप्रयाग)। विकासखंड के दूरस्थ गांव तिल्लू, जहंगी व गणेशनगर क्षेत्र में दो साल से पेयजल संकट चल रहा है। इससे क्षेत्र के विद्यालयों में मिड-डे मील पकाने में भी दिक्कत हो रही है। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि विभागीय लापरवाही से पेयजल लाइन के क्षतिग्रस्त होने से यह परेशानी हो रही है।

विकासखंड अगस्त्यमुनि के सुदूरवर्ती गांव तिल्लू, जहंगी के साथ गणेशनगर क्षेत्र के लिए बनी पेयजल योजना के लिए विभाग ने किसी कर्मचारी की तैनाती नहीं की गई है। इससे पेयजल लाइन कई स्थानों पर क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई है। उपभोक्ता पीने के पानी को कई किमी दूर से लाते हैं। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि पूर्व में ही विभाग को इस संबंध में अवगत कराने के बावजूद भारी भरकम बिल भेजे जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि रखरखाव के लिए पेयजल लाइन पर विभाग अपना कर्मचारी रखता तो, पेयजल संकट कम हो सकता था। प्रधान जहंगी व प्रधान संघ के ब्लाक अध्यक्ष विक्रम सिंह नेगी का कहना है कि विभाग ने एक माह के भीतर पेयजल संकट दूर नहीं किया, तो ग्रामीणों को साथ लेकर जनांदोलन शुरू करेंगे। इससे क्षेत्र के विद्यालयों में मिड-डे मील पकाने के लिए भी पानी नहीं मिल पा रहा है।

A young Uttarakhand seems to have learnt the 'art of living' faster than expected. Once known for its money order-based economy, Uttarakhand poses a stiff challenge in many ways to its parent state, Uttar Pradesh. The single biggest difference is the quality of life. A good measure of this is the gap in per capita income - Rs 34,000 per annum in Uttarakhand and just Rs 18,000 in UP. The new state also fares better on other growth indicators. Nearly 70% of its 16,000 villages are electrified and connected by motorable roads. This, despite the fact that most of these villages are high up in the mountains.

Major industrial houses have set up shop in the region, thanks to the excellent law and order situation and the Centre's special industrial package for the state. This offers a customs duty and income tax rebate on capital investment and will last till next year.

Healthcare, once almost non-existent in the region, is improving. Since 2000, two medical colleges have come up; four more are planned within the next three years. More than Rs 40,000 crore is to be invested in the power sector and that's in addition to the Tehri Hydel Project.

The new state's annual budget is pegged at more than Rs 6,000 crore in this financial year, a six-fold jump on 2000. Uttarakhand has also been able to sustain and increase revenue-generation - from Rs 300 crore to around Rs 3,500 crore annually. The state now has 60 MLAs instead of the 22 who represented the region in undivided UP. Administrative decentralization is also proceeding apace with the state counting 78 tehsils, nearly 30 more than before.

Small wonder locals say true independence for them came with statehood in 2000 rather than in August 1947.
